I just installed this Island Vent Hood and was quite impressed with how easy it was to install. Be sure to have studs to attach it to and you may also want to have an outlet in the ceiling to plug this into. I love it and it looks so stylish and clean, works great and very quiet running. I wouldn't attempt to do this alone since it it fairly awkward to maneuver by yourself. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a modern, sleek look above their Island. Lights are great.

I just installed the 30" version of this item above our Island and it is not only beautiful, but fairly easy to install. Be sure to have an outlet above your Island (in the ceiling) and Joists to attach this to as well as someone else to help, and you will be on your way. Quiet and stylish with the Halogen lights. Well worth the money. The instructions could have been a little more clear, but it didn't take long to figure this one out. Very happy with the company as well. Fast delivery even to Canada although shipping was quite a bit. Would certainly recommend without hesitation.
